Support the Newland Christian Trust
The Newland Christian Trust relies on donations to support its work.
If you would like to support the work of the Trust, there are various ways to do this:
- Make a one-off transfer of funds electronically.
- Donate online by going to our give.net page.
- Make a one-off donation by cash or by cheque (payable to The Newland Christian Trust).
- Give regularly by setting up a standing order to us using your online banking.
- If you prefer, we can set up payments for you. In this case, please also complete the bank standing order instruction on the Trust's giving form.
Please complete a Trust giving form to accompany your gift, even if you are making an electronic transfer of funds, and give it to Allan Smith (the Trust's Treasurer), or post it to us at the address below. This helps us to plan ahead. This form also includes our bank details and gives you the option of specifying how you would like your donation to be used.
If you are a UK taxpayer and you are eligible to do so, do please ‘Gift Aid’ your donation. This enables us to reclaim 25p of tax for every £1 that you give. There is a Gift Aid declaration on the reverse of the giving form. You do not need to complete this part of the form if you already have a Gift Aid declaration in place with The Newland Christian Trust.
If you are considering bequeathing a legacy to the Trust, please contact the Chairman of the Trust, , for further information.
Gift Day - 1 July 2018
Our Gift Day for the building project on 1 July had raised an amazing £160,000 by the end of the first week. It's still not too late to make a donation.
There are special arrangements for giving for the Gift Day - please see the Gift Day giving slip for instructions. Please complete this slip and place it with your gift in an envelope, mark it 'Gift Day' and give it to Allan Smith, or post it to the Trust at the address below.
Please contact Allan Smith, the Trust Treasurer, to discuss the most effective way you can give, or if you plan to give in several different ways.
For most people, we will be able to claim Gift Aid on gifts up to five times the tax thay have paid. However, some people may find, when they add together all their giving in a single tax year, that it is greater than the amount which is eligible for Gift Aid. In these circumstances, they could maximise the amount we can reclaim if they split their giving over more than one tax year. The Trust Treasurer will be able to advise.
